The General Courses Department is an academic–administrative unit within the College of Science. It does not enroll students directly; rather, it is responsible for organizing and coordinating the general courses shared among the various scientific departments of the college. The department oversees the coordination of study plans for general courses, standardizes their academic content, and supervises their distribution and scheduling among departments, ensuring academic integration and quality in the educational process, and supporting the college’s academic programs in accordance with approved academic standards.
